Transport

Our transport department run a large fleet of vehicles who deliver to our customers from the northern outposts of Wick and Thurso down to York, Leeds and Scarborough in England's North East.

The fleet comprises a wide variety of vehicles from articulated trunkers down to small panel vans and company cars. Managing and controlling the fleet and its operation is a huge logistical task and again the biggest and most important asset in this is our people.

Headed up by two transport managers, Carrie Sommerville in the East Division and Bryan Cromb in the West, our teams of drivers are not just drivers, they actually deliver the clean laundry to our customers. They also deliver it to various locations within the hotels and return to the plant with the used items for the whole process to begin again.

Our fleet drivers not only drive to our customers and deliver our service, they are very much in the front line of our customer service and the first and best chance to impress our professionalism and helpfulness to our customers.
